More about Matthew…

Outside of the office Matthew is (amongst other things) a semi-professional musician, playing with his band ‘Ad Lib’ and also in a duo ‘Ad Lib (Diminished)’. In 2008 he released his first CD ‘Folk I Know’ in aid of Cancer Research (UK) and hopes to release a second CD in the near future.

In January 2012 Matthew took on the new challenge of starting up a school choir at the Duke of Bedford School in his new home village of Thorney as well as teaching instrumental music to a range of pupils in the school. Since then Matthew has become a more permanent teacher at the school and now teaches composition, music appreciation and singing through his second company Coates Notes Music Services Ltd.

A former member of Round Table Great Britain and Ireland; Matthew has enjoyed the position of Area Chairman in 2009, Whittlesey & District Chairman in 2010 and Peterborough Chairman in 2012.

Beverley

Bev joined the company as a voluntary worker in December 2011 after a period of working for her family business and being a full time mum (set to continue for some time) adding payroll and bookkeeping to her previous experience of purchase ledger, stock control and credit control.

Bev quickly became a valued member of staff and from 1st September 2012 joined the company on an employment basis as our Payroll Manager. Bev is a competent member of staff and regularly and efficiently holds the fort whilst Matthew is out of the office.

Outside work Bev is a full time mum who is devoted to her children. She also enjoys music and has recently picked up her flute again after many years of absence. In January 2012 she worked with Matthew to promote the new Community Choir in Thorney and now regularly helps at the choir by organising the warm up routines each week. Bev is also involved as the Secretary of the PFSA within the school.

Matthew and Bev are friendly, approachable professional people. We look forward to helping you and your company. Please get in touch.
